Fast Start Class
The Fast Start Program is offered by the Tribe in conjunction with Venture Incubator, a non-profit organization that specializes in business development. Begun in 2021, the Fast Start Program is offered to Tribal members who have a business idea or are already business owners. The six-week class offers instruction in everything from
developing a business plan, to marketing, to financial planning.
At the end of each class, a competition is held for the best business plan, with the winner receiving $1,000 to use in their business development.

TVA Rural Certification
Choctaw is proud to be the first TVA Rural Certified Community in the state of Mississippi. This designation is given to communities that are particularly prepared to compete for
job creation and investment.
Communities must complete a rigorous process to achieve this designation.
